Sunny skies, warm temps for Las Vegas this week

Students will head back to school this week under sunny skies and warm highs, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday saw a high temperature of 96 degrees, and temperatures should stay near or above 100 degrees for the rest of the week.
No rain is forecast for the Las Vegas Valley for the forseeable future, the weather service said.
Monday will start the week off with a high of 102. Low temperatures for the week will remain close to 80 degrees.
Temperatures will rise and fall throughout the week, with forecast highs of 104 on Tuesday, 103 on Wednesday, and 101 on Thursday, and 99 on Friday, according to the weather service.
