Warm, breezy weather on tap Sunday, but cooler weather ahead

Las Vegas Valley residents can expect continued warm, breezy weather on Sunday but will see cooler temperatures and clouds on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday saw a high of 78 degrees and a low temperature of 60 degrees, meteorologist Chris Outler said.

Sunday’s expected high temperature is 81 degrees with a low of 59 degrees, Outler said. Southwest wind gusts are expected to reach up to 40 mph, he said.

“We have a storm system moving through,” Outler said. “There will be some more clouds and cooler temperatures” on Monday.

Monday’s high temperature is expected to be 70 degrees with a low of 58 degrees, the weather service said.

Tuesday and Wednesday are both expected to have mostly sunny skies, with high temperatures in the 70s and lows in the 50s, he said.
