Warm weekend for the Las Vegas Valley

Warm temperatures near 80 degrees are expected for the remainder of the weekend and into next week, National Weather Service meteorologist Caleb Steele said.

With a high of 80 degrees and low of 56 degrees on Saturday, temperatures are expected to feel the same through Tuesday. Next week, the Las Vegas Valley will see temperatures between 70s to 80 degrees with lows around 50 degrees, Steele said.

The skies should remain "pretty clear and quiet," Steele said, as cloudy days are not expected. There may be slight breezes from the north on Monday and Tuesday, but nothing over 10 miles per hour.

There is still an inch of snow remaining on Mt. Charleston with plenty of it just above the lodge, Steele said.
