Those who longed for a Cracker Barrel without leaving town and dreamed that one day The Halal Guys would head west from New York City have to be pretty happy about eating out in the Las Vegas Valley in 2016.

Condo HOA keeps raising dues

I live in a condo association. I am wondering how often a homeowners association can raise the monthly dues. Since 2010, the dues have been raised three times. The fourth increase takes effect this month. This seems excessive.

NHL plans for 100th anniversary season with or without Olympics

The NHL is drawing up two schedules for the 2017-18 season. One is for an Olympic break in February, and the other for an uninterrupted season. Either way, the NHL’s 100th season will begin Oct. 4.
