A Clark County School District police officer deployed pepper spray Friday night to break up a fight between two girls following a basketball game between Canyon Springs and Legacy high schools.

Backyard fire leaves two Pahrump boys severely burned

The three boys were just trying to keep warm on the evening of Dec. 2. But the small fire they built in a Pahrump backyard wasn’t producing flames so they added a little gasoline. The fire exploded into a fireball, sending two boys to the hospital with severe burns over much of their bodies.
