Shooter named in southwest valley murder-suicide

A woman who died Thursday night in what Las Vegas police call a murder-suicide has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Jiyeon Lee, 23, was found dead with Won Jae Lee, 26, in a home in the 8900 block of Veneroso Street, near the intersection of South Fort Apache and West Pebble roads, at about 5 p.m., police said. She died of a gunshot wound to the head, the coroner said. Her death was ruled a suicide.
Police said the two, who were in a relationship, had a physical altercation, and that in the home’s garage Jiyeon shot Won Jae before turning the gun on herself.
