Police in Bullhead City, Ariz., have arrested a man accused of sex offenses against his great-granddaughters.
Joe Nevarez, 84, was arrested Wednesday, the same day Bullhead City police began investigating a report of improper touching, agency spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said.
The girls are 7, 8, 10 and 11 years old, Fromelt said, and had been molested several times since January. Nevarez moved into a Bullhead City home with two of his granddaughters and nine children early this year.
Police said the abused started before then, when the family lived elsewhere in Mohave County and Laughlin.
Nevarez was booked at the Mohave County jail for one count each of sexual conduct with a minor, sexual assault and continuous sexual abuse of a child.
