North Las Vegas police seek 3 people in home invasion

North Las Vegas police detectives are asking the public for help identifying three suspects and locating a vehicle that may have been involved in a home invasion Wednesday.

Officers responded to a home in the 3600 block of Pelican Brief Lane, where they found a 28-year-old North Las Vegas man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound about 2 a.m. The man was taken to University Medical Center, where he remains hospitalized with a non-life threatening injury, police said.

The preliminary investigation indicated that an unidentified woman rang the door bell to the man’s home, and when his 29-year-old wife answered the door, two unidentified men, one armed with a handgun, forced their way into the home and demanded money.

Her husband came downstairs, confronted the men and was shot once, police said.

There is no evidence to suggest the victims have any relationship to the perpetrators.

There was a vehicle seen leaving the area that may be connected. The vehicle is described as a white, two-door coupe with tinted windows and a sunroof.

Police described the woman they are looking for as standing about 5 feet tall with a regular build. long, braided hair and a tan jacket. One of the men was described as standing about 6 feet tall with a thin build and a black hooded sweatshirt. The other man was described as having a medium build and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with additional information regarding this case can call the North Las Vegas Police Department at 702-633-9111 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
