Republican presidential hopefuls debate in Las Vegas — BLOG

Thirteen Republican presidential candidates are in Las Vegas for two debates Tuesday at the Venetian.

Nine of them, including the front runners, will be in a prime-time debate that starts at 5:30 p.m. Las Vegas time: Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Carly Fiorina, Chris Christie, Rand Paul and John Kasich.

Four candidates with lower poll numbers will be in an undercard of sorts at 3 p.m.: two former governors, Mike Huckabee of Arkansas and George Pataki of New York; a former U.S. senator, Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania; and U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.
