CITY TO ACCEPT LAND USE APPLICATIONS AND PLANS ONLINE
The city of Las Vegas plans to accept land use applications and plans online, including general plan amendments, rezoning requests, site plan reviews, variances and special use permits.
Residents, engineers and architects can go through the zoning process from their computer rather than visiting the Development Services Center, 333 N. Rancho Drive.
Future plans are to have the mapping process, civil plans, engineering plans and building permits available for submittal and review online, too.
For those without scanning capabilities at home, a kiosk at the Development Services Center will be offered for customers to scan their plans and submit them electronically. The online process is expected to take five to 10 minutes.
Training sessions have been scheduled for customers to learn the new system. Upcoming sessions are scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. July 18 and July 23 at Las Vegas City Hall, 495 S. Main St., in the first-floor Human Resources training rooms.
There are only 14 spots per session,
so RSVP is required by emailing
