EUROPEAN MASSAGE THERAPY SCHOOL ACCEPTING DONATIONS FOR TOYS FOR TOTS

European Massage Therapy School, 9440 W. Sahara Ave., is an official drop-off site for the Toys for Tots Foundation. To celebrate the toy drive kick off, EMTS has launched a holiday special for student clinic massages. Through Dec. 19, receive $5 off your massage every time you bring in a new, unwrapped toy for donation.

AQUAE SULIS SPA OFFERS FUNDRAISER FOR HOLIDAY AT JW MARRIOTT

The Aquae Sulis Spa inside the JW Marriott, 221 N. Rampart Blvd., invites guests to embrace the spirit of the season with its 12 Days of Giving holiday fundraiser Thursday through Dec. 24. HEALTH COMPANY DONATES KNITTED ITEMS TO LOCAL VETERANS

Humana donated more than 350 knitted caps, scarves and afghans to U.S. Vets-Las Vegas, 525 E. Bonanza Road, Nov. 30.

The items were knitted and crocheted by the Humana Charity Crafters. The group meets from 1 to 4 p.m. Fridays at 1000 N. Green Valley Parkway in Henderson and from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays at 8975 W. Charleston Blvd.

CUPKATES BY KATE OFFERS TEA PARTIES WITH SANTA

Tea Parties with Santa are planned at Cupkates by Kate in the Market LV at Tivoli Village, 420 S. Rampart Blvd., through Dec. 24. The last available reservation is at noon Dec. 24.

Store hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Parties include crafts, games, cupcake decorating and tea with Santa and are for children 3 or older. The cost is $20 per child, and picture taking is encouraged.

GOLFERS CAN DONATE TOYS

OB Sports Golf Management's Las Vegas golf facilities announce the holiday program Toys Fore Golf, which encourages Las Vegas-area golfers to donate unwrapped toys in exchange for preferred green fees. Toys will be donated to HELP of Southern Nevada, a community resource that provides programs such as family services, homeless services and emergency resource services.

Five local golf facilities are participating in the program. Angel Park Golf Club, 100 N. Rampart Blvd., and The Legacy Golf Club, 130 Par Excellence Drive in Henderson, are offering 18 holes of golf for $40 Monday through Thursday and $45 Friday through Sunday. Stallion Mountain Golf Club, 5500 E. Flamingo Road, is offering a four-players-for-$100 bounce-back gift certificate valid for green fees upon the golfer's next visit to the club.

Las Vegas Golf Club, 4300 W. Washington Ave., is offering a $35 rate that includes a golf cart or a $25 rate for those who would rather walk. Painted Desert Golf Club, 5555 Painted Mirage Road, is offering a $49 rate before 11 a.m. and $29 after 11 a.m.

The program runs through Dec. 20.

ADAPTIVE CYCLE CLUB PLANS ACTIVITY AT W. WAYNE BUNKER FAMILY PARK

The all-ages Adaptive Cycle Club plans to host activities from 9 to 11 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at W. Wayne Bunker Family Park, 7351 W. Alexander Road, at Tenaya Way. The cost is $2 per person. Adaptive cycles will be provided.

SOLARI HOSPICE OFFERING GRIEF SUPPORT

The holidays can be a hard time for those grieving the loss of a loved one. To help individuals find healthy ways to heal and cope, Solari Hospice Care offers two free ongoing weekly grief support groups from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and 10 a.m. to noon Fridays in the Solari Hospice Care Administrative Building, 5550 S. NJB GIRLS BASKETBALL CLUB ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

The NJB Girls Basketball club is accepting applications. There are beginner and advanced levels for girls in fifth through seventh grades, as well as for boys in fourth through seventh grades.

Practices and games are held at the Centennial Hills YMCA, 6601 N. Buffalo Drive, or the Durango Hills YMCA, 3521 N. Durango Drive.

NATHAN ADELSON HOSPICE SEEKS DONATIONS THROUGH DEC. 31

Through Dec. 31, Nevada's largest nonprofit hospice organization, Nathan Adelson Hospice, is accepting donations for families that have gone through the hospice process and seek assistance in their time of need. The Families in Need program assists those patients and families at Nathan Adelson Hospice that might not always be able to afford everyday necessities. The hospice provides care and support to more than 450 patients and families each day as their loved ones makes their end-of-life journey.

Among the "wish list" items are gift cards from Walmart, grocery stores, Babies R Us and Target, as well as gasoline cards. Nonperishables needed include peanut butter, jelly, tuna, spaghetti sauce, dry pasta, soups and non-refrigerator microwaveable items.

Items can be dropped off at any Nathan Adelson location: 4141 Swenson St.; in the MountainView Medical Office Building, 3150 N. Tenaya Way (near Cheyenne Avenue), third floor; and 1401 S. Highway 160, Suite B, in Pahrump. For more information, call Stephanie Forbes at 702-938-3910.
