PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View's pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

"Benson Andrew loves to put on his jean jacket and doggles to go for a ride in the truck around Summerlin. He has a special seat built up so that he is able to view out of all the windows in the truck. He thinks that he is the 'king of the truck,' " said Annette Matsunami of Las Vegas.

"When I first saw this puppy, she was so sweet looking that the first name that came to mind was Candy. Here she is playing with her favorite pillow, which she pushes all over the house," said Dorothy Hammond of Henderson.

"This is Kobe, one of our adult cats we adopted from the shelter," said Eloise Rhodes of Henderson.

"Lacy also loves QVC and watches it all the time. She is a little sweetheart," said Helen M. Ott of Boulder City.

"My noisy, darling Molucann cockatoo, Peaches. I am his ninth, and hopefully last, mom. Peach loves screaming, nipping to get his way, veggies, fruit, getting petted, hugs and destroying furniture, paper, towels and almost anything wooden," said Jacquelyn Isbach of Las Vegas.
