Animal lovers gathered on March 22, 2015, at Centennial Hills Park, 7101 N. Buffalo Drive, for the 19th Annual Wag-A-Tail Walk-A-Thon. The canine- and family-friendly event benefited the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society. More than 400 people took part in the day’s activities. The Las Vegas Valley Humane Society helps rescue or spay more than 3,000 dogs and cats each year and provides advocacy for animal welfare issues. The group is based at 3395 S. Jones Blvd., Suite 454.
