Two former executives of a Las Vegas investmant company have been extradited from Japan in connection with a $1.5 billion Las Vegas Ponzi that prosecutors called one of the largest financial crimes in the country’s history.

Henderson man pleads guilty in helicopter laser strikes

James Zipf, 30, of Henderson admitted in federal court Thursday that he pointed a laser at Las Vegas police helicopters earlier this year. Zipf pleaded guilty to one of six felony counts. The other counts will be thrown out as part of a plea agreement.
