The monthly First Friday downtown Arts District festival is scheduled from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday. Many area galleries also open for Preview Thursday openings. This month’s theme is the Art of Romance. Scheduled activities and gallery shows include:
Clark County Museum is scheduled to ope an exhibit about the facts and myths of cowboys and American Indians.
— The Cockroach Theatre inside Art Square, 1025 S. First St., plans to continue its run of “Gruesome Playground Injuries,” a play by Rajiv Joseph, at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through Feb. 17. Tickets are $15 and $18. Visit cockroachtheatre.com.
