UNLV had a season-high 21 hits to beat New Mexico 14-2 on Sunday and sweep the three-game series at Wilson Stadium. The Rebels had 55 hits for the series.
UNLV hit four home runs to beat New Mexico 14-6 and clinch the series victory. The Rebels, who hadn’t homered three times in a game all season until this series, hit seven home runs in two games against the Lobos.
Erick Fedde worked out of an early jam, and his teammates provided six runs in the bottom of the first to propel UNLV to an 11-2 victory over the New Mexico at windy Wilson Stadium on Friday.
Khem Birch decided to leave UNLV and declare for the NBA Draft. There’s a question if he’ll get drafted, but no question it’s a big loss for the Rebels.
