Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Chrystal S. Field graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio. Field is the daughter of Susan A. Field and sister of Bruce R. Field II of Las Vegas. Field is a 2009 LPN graduate of the College of Southern Nevada.

Workshops teach residents how to react during disasters

Living in a region that is susceptible to disasters such as fires and floods can be unsettling. However, the American Red Cross Southern Nevada chapter plans to educate residents about preparedness and assisting emergency response personnel.
