ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Outgoing Gov. Charlie Crist is looking to pardon long-dead rocker Jim Morrison, who was convicted of exposing himself at a raucous 1969 concert in Miami. Morrison was lead singer of The Doors and a Florida native. He was appealing the indecent exposure and profanity conviction when he died in 1971 in a Paris bathtub at age 27.
LOS ANGELES — A celebrity earned a perfect score for her Argentine tango on Monday’s “Dancing With the Stars,” only to learn Tuesday that it would be her final dance in the competition. She was eliminated from the hit ABC dance-off just before next week’s final showdown for the mirrorball trophy.
