Macau operations help credit profiles of Las Vegas Sands, Wynn Resorts

Wells Fargo Securities gaming analyst Dennis Farrell Jr., who specializes in high-yield bonds, said Las Vegas Sands and Wynn Resorts Ltd. have the best credit profiles of any of the major casino operators, primarily because of their wholly owned Macau operations.

Slot machine route operator Golden Gaming acquired a Northern Nevada rival, which will give the Las Vegas-based firm roughly 8,000 total slot machines in more than 700 statewide locations.

Local 99 Cents Only stores are working to bring beer and wine sales to the Las Vegas area. The chain is seeking approval from the city of Las Vegas City Planning Commission to sell the products in three of its 15 area locations: 1200 S. Decatur Blvd., 45 N. Nellis Blvd. and 1155 E. Charleston Blvd.
