Las Vegas home prices in January grew fastest among major U.S. markets for the eighth month in a row, S&P Dow Jones Indices reported. Southern Nevada’s prices were up 10.5% year-over-year, more than double the national rate of 4.3%. In 2018, prices rose in every ZIP code in the Las Vegas Valley for the second year in a row, according to SalesTraq. Prices grew fastest in older, more centrally located areas. But prices were highest in the suburbs.
