Chapman’s Pamper Your Pet brings animals, autos together

In observance of National Pet Wellness and Adopt a Dog Month, Chapman Chrysler Jeep held its third annual Pamper Your Pet Day on Oct. 15 with a selection of services to show love for furry and loyal friends.

Designed to cater to pets of all shapes and sizes, the event featured a selection of complimentary products from local pet-focused businesses, as well as services including grooming and nail clipping. With more than 300 attendees, the dealership floor was filled with people and pets in a day of pet adoptions, prizes, food and music.

More than 20 local businesses were on-site to showcase services and share in the fun. Among the vendors were A Home 4 Spot, Camp Bow Wow, city of Henderson Animal Shelter, Sit Means Sit, Dogs ID Tagged, Doggie District Pet Resort, Hoodratz Inc., Vegas Rock Dog Radio, Las Vegas Vet Specialty Center, Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming, Hap-E-Dog Natural Food Barkery, Healing Habitat, Pet’ographique and Barkingham Palace Dog Grooming.

“Chapman is a family-owned dealership and pets are most certainly a part of our families,” said Gary Brewer, Chapman Chrysler Jeep general manager. “This was our third annual Pamper Your Pet event, and each year it grows in attendance — a testament to the pet enthusiasts in our community. We love bringing our beloved furry friends, vendors and the community together to the dealership with this fun and unique event.”

City of Henderson Animal Shelter and A Home for Spot were on site with a variety of dogs available for adoption. More than $400 was raised from a bake sale to benefit both organizations.

Chapman Automotive, with four locations in Southern Nevada, is celebrating five decades of providing exemplary customer service, dedication to the community, along with an extensive selection of new and used vehicles.

Las Vegas Harley-Davidson to hold Demo Ride event

The entire lineup of 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycles will be available for test rides at Las Vegas Harley-Davidson’s Demo Ride event Friday through Sunday. The event, open to the public, is from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the dealership, 5191 Las Vegas Boulevard South.

It also will feature a tent sale from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. all three days with special pricing on pre-owned motorcycles.

Free food from Trailhound Smokers BBQ food truck will be available Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cadillac car show had best of everything at Town Square

The 14th annual Cadillac Through the Years car show at Town Square Las Vegas had 81 Cadillacs representing a record field of classic vehicles. In addition, a crowd of more than 8,000 attended the event, which was held April 28.
