Cowboy out, Silver Sevens on the way

The hat comes off as the face of the property begins to change at the intersection of Paradise Road and Flamingo Road. Construction crews with Federal Heath Sign Company will have the sign down by the end of the week. It will be donated to the Neon Museum in downtown Las Vegas.

The signs at Terrible’s Hotel & Casino are changing as the property shifts directions to go with a new identity.
Last week’s announcement that Terrible’s was being rebranded as the Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino indicated that the transition to the new sign would begin this week with the old sign coming down. The new sign should be in place in time for July 7 unveiling.
Parts of the old signage, including the Terrible’s cowboy, will be donated to the Neon Museum.
The rebranding is the third name for the off-Strip location, which was originally opened as the Continental. The Herbst family acquired the casino out of bankruptcy in 1999 and remodeled the property into Terrible’s in 2000.
