UNLV honors Bank of Nevada President and COO John Guedry
Bank of Nevada President and Chief Operating Officer John Guedry has been named the 2013 Management, Entrepreneurship and Technology Department Alumnus of the Year by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
The Lee Business School’s Department Alumnus of the Year program is in its second year and honors graduates of the school for their achievements and service to the business community. UNLV officials will recognize Guedry and other honorees Thursday.
Guedry has spent more than 30 years in the financial services and related field in Nevada.
Before joining Bank of Nevada, he was CEO and president of Business Bank of Nevada. Guedry also serves as a board member of Opportunity Village, the Public Education Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Las Vegas Bowl.
He is also a member of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce and The Las Vegas Economic Development Steering Committee. Guedry earned his undergraduate degree from UNLV in business management.
