In a deal valued at more than $8.5 million, CBRE recently secured new 12 leases at Hughes Airport Center, located at5030 Paradise Road in Las Vegas. Collectively, the leases took about nine months to complete, with the majority of them getting approved in the first quarter of 2016.
The leases account for nearly 150,000 square feet of the 3.3 million square-foot office facility at the airport.
Kevin Higgins, executive vice president of brokerage industrial services at CBRE, said in a statement that the need for high quality space, reasonable pricing and location created an environment where the space could be filled.
According to the statement, the improving economy has led to more interest in the area.
