Log onto the Las Vegas Business Press website and let us hear your opinion on this week's question.

In an unprecedented business maneuver, Perini Building Co. delivered a nine-page letter May 4 to Gov. Jim Gibbons seeking help in collecting more than $500 million the company is owed from construction of MGM Mirage's $8.5 billion CityCenter. The project's general contractor made it clear that it is urging federal, state and local officials to investigate MGM Mirage's nonpayment. The letter also warns officials about the repercussions to the more than 600 subcontractors who have not been paid for work done on the Strip megaresort.

Do you think Perini is right to bring local politicians into its business dispute with MGM Mirage?
