THIS WEEK’S BUSINESS PRESS POLL QUESTION
Log onto the Las Vegas Business Press Web site and let us hear your opinion on this week’s question.
Even as the federal government struggles to repair the nation’s crippled financial system, the U.S. auto industry is growing more desperate for a bailout package of its own. Economists are divided, however, on what would be the impact of letting the U.S. auto industry fail. Some predict catastrophe if the industry dies, with the U.S. economy taking a hit of $200 billion to $300 billion while others suggest it would have little impact on the U.S. economy.
Do you think the U.S. auto industry is something that needs to be rescued?
