Energy drink maker Xyience sold to Texas company

Las Vegas-based Xyience, a top ten energy drink manufacturer, has been sold to Big Red Inc., of Austin, Texas. Big Red is a top ten soda company known for its Big Red Vanilla Float, Big Blue and its signature Big Red.

Xyience, a zero-calorie energy drink, will end its sponsorship deal with Las Vegas-based Utimate Fighting Championship. Xyience had featured an energy drink can with the picture of UFC superstar Ronda Rousey on it.

The sale’s financial details were not disclosed.
