Las Vegas energy company’s license revoked by contractors board

The Nevada State Contractors Board has revoked the license of a Las Vegas energy company.

Summerlin Energy Las Vegas LLC, a business that installed solar panels, had its license revoked Wednesday, board records show. The company had received a disciplinary hearing before the revocation.

Summerlin Energy, which claimed to be “one of the largest solar install companies in the valley” on its website, had been cited by the board for at least nine violations, including abandonment of a construction project and failure to pay for materials or services, according to records.
