Las Vegas-based Attack Poker partners with Bellator MMA
Las Vegas-based Attack Poker has become the official online gaming partner of Bellator MMA, a Newport Beach, Calif., mixed martial arts promotion company.
The partnership’s specific length was undisclosed, though it was called a multiyear deal. Financial terms of the sponsorship were undisclosed.
The multiyear alliance will be launched at Bellator’s season 10 debut at Mohegan Sun Casino on Feb. 28. Spike TV will broadcast the Bellator fight show event. Bellator, owned by entertainment giant Viacom, has more than 175 fighters under contract and competes with Las Vegas-based Ultimate Fighting Championship.
To promote its new sponsor, Bellator will feature “The Attack of the Night” on its TV broadcasts to highlight the event’s most explosive finish or technique. The Attack Poker logo will be featured inside the Ballator cage on the crossbar and bumper pads.
“Bellator is the toughest tournament in sports, and this partnership will make Attack Poker the toughest, largest, free-to-play poker tournament in the world,” said Ronald Doumani, managing partner of EMIL Interactive Games LLC, Attack Poker’s parent.
