New sip and paint studio to open in northwest Las Vegas

A new sip and paint studio will open in the northwest valley May 1.

Wine and Design will launch its first Nevada site at 6535 N. Buffalo Drive, near Sky Point Drive, franchisee and Las Vegas native Tiffany Winterrowd said Tuesday.

One suite will be dedicated to adults and fashioned after a winery, Winterrowd said. “Get your art buzz on,” is the company’s slogan. The second half of the studio will cater to a younger crowd.

“I look forward to catering to all ages,” Winterrowd said, adding that is what sets her business apart from local competitors.

Wine and Design says it further distinguishes itself from similar companies by offering lessons and camps for kids, private in-studio parties, corporate team-building exercises and “design on wheels,” bringing the artist to the customer’s home, Winterrowd said.

Participants of each event, which last up to 2.5 hours, paint the same picture. For private events, Winterrowd says customers can choose the painting ahead of time.

Between three and six artists will be employed to host the lessons, which cost anywhere from $15 to $35 per person, she said. Beverages are not included.

Winterrowd, who owns the 52nd Wine and Design location with her husband, says, “we’re totally family owned.”
