The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance named Terrence Thornton director of investor services and development. Before this appointment, he served as an administrative assistant and held two key administrative roles.


The International Academy of Design and Technology named Thomas Jordan lead instructor.


Slater Hanifan Group named Randy Carroll director of the company’s public works division. He has more than 15 years of experience in transportation planning, operations analysis, pedestrian access, parking and transit operations.


Bank of Nevada was named Financial Institution of the Year at the 16th annual National Association of Industrial and Office Properties Southern Nevada Spotlight Awards.

senior vice president of sales and marketing. The
company also named Paul Omohundro director of marketing.

The Las Vegas Hospitality Association added eight new members in February. The new members are: Nicky Baumohl (Evolutionary Events); Christopher Perron (24/7 Entertainment Limousines); Carrie Henderson (BEST Agency); Bobby Haynes (At Your Service, HB LLC); Andrea Ligon (View Wine Bar & Kitchen); Edward Belmont (Enterprise Rent a Car); Tanya Klein (Ultimate Staffing); and Jeff Benko (Metropolitan Exposition Services).

Aristocrat Leisure Limited named Joe Kaminkow senior vice president of game development.


Vegas PBS named Jessey Riley television assistant. He’s joining the production team as a videographer and editor.


MassMedia Corporate Communications named Dee Anna David account supervisor. She will oversee the company’s diverse group of regional clients in California, Florida and New Mexico.

The company also promoted Scott Kerbs and Matt Seltzer to account executives. Kerbs started at MassMedia as a media relations specialist. Seltzer started at the company as a assistant account executive.

Trosper Communications named Brittany Melega office manager.

The Abbi Agency, a Reno-based public relations firm is expanding to Las Vegas by adding a second location in the downtown area.


RMI Management named Kendall Abbott senior community manager.


Cobalt Data Centers named Mark Hansen vice president of operations and security. He will be responsible for day-to-day operational issues for the physical security of the company’s facility.

Suwandy, a senior voice architect for Datanamics, achieved the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Voice Certification, one of the most prestigious networking certifications in the industry.
