MountainView Hospital received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With the Guidelines Stroke Gold Quality Achievement Award. This award recognizes the hospital’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of stroke care.

The Firm Public Relations & Marketing won a gold Hermes Creative Award for its public relations campaign for Three Square Food Bank’s fifth anniversary of Las Vegas Restaurant Week.

Slater Hanifan Group named James Cooper assistant project manager for land development. Mallory Stratton was added to the company’s administrative services team.

Terry Shirey, executive vice president and chief financial officer for Nevada State Bank, was appointed to the Nevada Capital Investment Corporation. He will serve a four-year term.


Family care provider Sunita Kalra joined HealthCare Partners Medical Group.

Red Rock Fertility Center has added Shannon McGrath to its team of doctors and nurses. She will be working at the company’s new location in Henderson. McGrath is a certified women’s health nurse practitioner and has been working in the field of reproductive endocrinology for 13 years.


Hutchison & Steffen attorney Christian Orme received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. An AV rating is the highest rating that an attorney can receive through the Martindale-Hubbell directory.


Nathan Adelson Hospice named Kathryn Bonello manager of major gifts. In this role she will be responsible for securing donations that support the programs of the hospice.

Marilyn Drake, a librarian at Meadows School, was appointed to the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District’s board of trustees by the city of Las Vegas. Her term will run through April 2017.

NEWave named Don Miller executive vice president of software development. Miller is a Microsoft-certified senior application developer and gaming industry information technology expert.
