St. Rose Dominican Hospitals will launch an exapansion of its Siena campus next month.
The plans call for a five-story, $156 million hospital tower that will add nearly 100 private rooms to the current facility, for a total of 326. In addition, a four-story parking garage will include nearly 500 spaces.
Work on the garage will start in August, with the completion coming in April. Construction on the hospital will begin construction and extend until June 2015.
Besides the rooms, the project will include 32 new bays in the emergency room, more than doubling Siena’s current capacity, and six operating suites.
In 2011, according to state reports, Siena ranked as the most profitable hospital in Clark County, with an operating income of $28.3 million on operating revenues of $314.4 million. It admitted 17,400 in patients.
St. Rose Dominican is part of Dignity Health.
