2 arrested in east Las Vegas for possessing approximately 1,000 ecstasy pills

Two men were arrested Tuesday for possessing approximately 1,000 ecstasy pills, Las Vegas police said.

Metropolitan Police Department narcotics agents arrested Marvin Roberts and Kenneth Powell at the 4700 block of East Craig Road on Tuesday. The time of the arrest wasn’t specified.

Roberts, 30, and Powell, 28, both face a felony charge for trafficking of a controlled substance, Roberts also faces a felony charge for ownership or possession of a gun by a prohibited person.

They are due in court June 24.
