Authorities: Henderson man bilked trade show attendees

A 40-year-old Southern Nevada man is accused of operating a hotel reservation scam that authorities say bilked trade show attendees and left them without rooms.

The Nevada attorney general's office said that Todd Harrington of Henderson appeared before a Las Vegas judge Friday on five felony theft charges.

He could get him at least five years in state prison.

Justice of the Peace William Jansen set an evidence hearing in February.
