A Cheyenne High School student was arrested Friday morning after bringing a .32-caliber handgun onto campus, according to Clark County School District police.
Police had received tips that 18-year-old Timothy Lewis had the weapon in his vehicle.
School police spokesman Ken Young said officers found the gun in Lewis’ vehicle at the North Las Vegas school, near Craig Road and Simmons Street.
