Henderson man, woman booked on drug charges after raid on marijuana grow house
A Henderson man and woman were arrested Monday in connection with a marijuana grow house raid that yielded an estimated $600,000 worth of the drug, Las Vegas police said Tuesday.
Police said Michael Plunkett, 22, and Brianna Lieder, 21, were booked into the Clark County Detention Center on multiple drug-related charges.
Plunkett faces charges of unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to sell, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
Lieder faces charges of unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to sell and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
At 4:30 p.m. Monday, the Metropolitan Police Department SCORE team served a search warrant in the 600 block of Black Ridge Road in Henderson.
During the raid, 47 plants and about 45 pounds of ready-for-sale marijuana were seized.
SCORE stands for Southern Nevada Cannabis Operation and Regional Enforcement. The team comprises personnel from Las Vegas and Henderson police and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
