Homeless stabbing victim identified

A man who died after being stabbled multiple times late Saturday has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Ronald Gray, 62, was found by Las Vegas police just before 11 p.m. in the 100 block of West Owens Avenue. He was transferred to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to Las Vegas police.

Police believe Gray was homeless and was sleeping between two buildings when the stabbing occurred. His death was ruled a homicide.

Police are searching for a Hispanic male suspect between 20 and 25 years old who stands about 5-foot 2 inches and weighs 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark blue sweatsuit, a blue cap and white tennis shoes, and was riding a BMX-style bicycle.
