Lee named chief judge in North Las Vegas court

North Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Chris Lee has been named chief judge and will serve a two-year term, that began Monday.

Lee, a former county prosecutor, was first elected to a judgeship in 2009.

In the Nov. 6 elections, he lost a bid to oust District Court Judge Kerry Earley.
