Man shot to death at motel near Strip
One man was shot to death Sunday in a drug-related slaying at a Motel 6 near the Strip.
Las Vegas police said the incident happened about 8:50 p.m. at 5085 Dean Martin Drive, where a man was shot multiple times in a hotel room.
The man, who was not identified, was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the man had an altercation with two other men regarding a drug deal. During the argument, one the men shot the victim with a handgun, and both suspects fled in a white sport utility vehicle, police said.
The Clark County coroner's office will identify the victim.
