A trail of blood that led from an AutoZone parking lot to an empty hotel room has Las Vegas police asking for help.

Police arrived at the automotive parts store near Nellis Boulevard and Las Vegas Boulevard North shortly after 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

They found a man bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds. The wounded man was transported to to the University Medical Center trauma unit, where he underwent surgery and is listed in stable condition.
