Police seek purse snatcher who injured woman

An elderly woman was the victim of a purse snatcher last month.
The woman was walking near a casino on West Flamingo Road on March 22 when a man approached her, stole her purse and knocked her onto the ground. She sustained severe injuries as a result of the robbery.
The man was able to evade chasing bystanders when he hopped over a block wall on the other side of the street. He is described as a white male, between 20 and 30 years old, weighing around 170 to 180 pounds. He is 5’10”, has light brown hair and was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, light colored pants and flip flop sandals.
