Woman, 78, killed Thursday while crossing Martin Luther King Boulevard
The person killed while crossing Martin Luther King Boulevard in a motorized wheelchair Thursday was a 78-year-old woman, according to Las Vegas police.
Her name has not yet been released.
The crash happened at 3:55 p.m. The woman was in a crosswalk south of Balzar Avenue when she was hit by a 2004 Nissan Altima, according to a police report. The driver, 47-year-old Angela Conway-Hill, was traveling south on Martin Luther King when she hit the woman in the wheelchair, who died at the scene, police said.
