Woman, 82, dies in crash in Bullhead City

An 82-year-old woman was fatally injured Thursday in a three-vehicle crash on state Route 95 in Bullhead City, Ariz.

Helen Christine Bokath was traveling south in a 2010 Dodge Caliber SUV that crossed the left-turn-only lane into oncoming traffic, Bullhead City police Lt. Steve Smith said. The SUV struck two other vehicles.

Officers responded to the collision in the 900 block of state Route 95 at 11:42 a.m., Smith said.

Bokath died of her injuries after she was flown to a Las Vegas hospital. Smith said passengers in the other two vehicles suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
