Woman robs Dillard’s in Henderson using a shoebox

Henderson police are seeking the public’s help in finding a woman who robbed a Dillard’s department store at the Galleria mall Saturday.

Police said the woman went to store’s customer service desk with a shoebox containing a note demanding money from the cashier about noon. The robbery was recorded by the store’s surveillance camera.

The cashier gave the woman an undisclosed amount of money. Store customers appeared unaware that a robbery was happening in front of them.

The woman was seen entering a two-door silver car, possibly a Nissan, police said.

No weapons were used and no one was injured. She was described as a black woman standing 5 feet 10 inches and weighing about 200 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a brown shirt, jeans and a white baseball hat with a red bill.
