Las Vegas homicide detectives have opened an investigation into the death of a woman more than a month after she was beaten in the eastern valley.
Neighbors heard yelling, then gunshots, just before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 2200 block of Superior Position Street, where responding officers found 36-year-old Antonio Wilson of North Las Vegas lying in the street.
Crystal Lynn Felipe, 42, died of multiple blunt force injuries, according to the Clark County coroner’s office. Her death was ruled a homicide, and her 42-year-old husband, Willie Bain, is facing one count of murder with a deadly weapon.
