Coroner identifies man found shot to death in northeast Las Vegas Valley

The Clark County coroner Monday identified the man police found dead in a northeast valley road early Saturday morning.

Metro officers found Samuel Magana, 32, unresponsive in the road on the 4100 block of Sunrise Avenue, near Sandhill Road, before 6:30 a.m.

Police said Magana appeared to have suffered from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Magana was shot at a different location and dumped on the road, police said.

As of Monday, no arrests have been made and the case is still under investigation, Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.
