Police were investigating a shooting in the eastern Las Vegas Valley Monday afternoon.
Just before 2:20 p.m., a person called police to report that they were shot, Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Jesse Roybal said. The person reported their location in the 4600 block of Boulder Highway, south of Twain Avenue, but the shooting may have occurred near Indios Avenue and Mountain Vista Street, Roybal said.
The person was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Roybal said. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting and police have not released details about a possible suspect.
