More than 85,000 tickets were sold in the first 24 hours, the most successful on-sale ticket opening in the 18 years the festival has been operated by Insomniac.
The tickets went on sale on Saturday for the largest electronic music party in the U.S.
The three-day festival will be held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway June 24-26 from dusk until dawn each day.
The lineup of celebrity DJs include headliners Tiesto, David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia.
