Deadmau5 still larger than life
His music pulses with a vitality that his name suggests a dearth of. Deadmau5 (pronounced "dead mouse") comes with more multihued, heart palpitating electronica on his sophomore disc, "For Lack of a Better Name," a slightly more diverse, immediately digestible effort than his acclaimed 2008 debut, "Random Album Title."
Deadmau5, who performs while donning a big, brightly colored "mau5head," has quickly become one of the more entertaining and engaging live acts in electronic music, as he's a performer just as larger than life as his tunes.
